An estate that has been gaining in stature over recent years, and although this is not the most concentrated of the classed Pauillacs, it has appealing blackberry and bilberry fruits along with coffee and cigar smoke, and a sense of lift and energy. Het huidige Château Lynch-Moussas, cinquième grand cru classé in Pauillac, is een gedeelte van het enorme domein het ooit was. Vanwege de grootte werd het ooit opgesplitst in twee domeinen; Château Lynch-Moussas en Château Lynch Bages. Sinds 1919 zwaait de familie Casteja de scepter op Château Lynch-Moussas dat altijd nog bestaat uit zo’n 200 hectare, waarvan 60 aangeplant met wijnstokken; 70% Cabernet Sauvignon en 30% Merlot. Steeds beter wordende wijnen die baat hebben bij 7 tot 10 jaar flesrijping. Tweede wijn: Les Hautes de Lynch-Moussas.
