Clear, rippling black cherry and raspberry fruits; beautiful aromatics with floral edging. This has a pretty tight layer of tannins to navigate through before you get to the fruit, but it is early days and this has plenty of distinction to suggest that it will age well. Druiven: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon

Château La Tour Carnet, Quatrième Grand Cru Classé, uit Haut-Médoc is sinds 1999 in handen van Bernard Margrez. Een bekende naam in Bordeaux met onder andere ook Château Fombrauge in Saint-Emilion, Château Pape Clément in Graves, Château Haut-Peyraguey in Sauternes. Château La Tour Carnet is een van de toonaangevende Château’s in de Haut-Médoc en sinds 1999 is het domein fors gegroeid van 40 hectare naar 190 hectare wijngaarden vandaag de dag. 56% is aangeplant met Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot en 1% Cabernet Franc. Fraaie wijnen met een rijk, weelderig en geconcentreerd karakter.
