The 2018 Grand-Puy-Lacoste is fabulous, just as it was from barrel. Strong Cabernet inflections soar out of the glass, giving the wine a compelling aromatic profile laced with the essence of graphite, dried herbs, menthol and dark fruit. One of the most classic (for lack of a better word) wines in the Left Bank in 2018, Grand-Puy-Lacoste is super-impressive right out of the gate. Druiven: 78% cabernet sauvignon, 22% merlot
Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is een 5e grand cru classé uit Pauillac. in 1500 plantte de familie Guiraud de eerste wijnstokken. Sinds 1978 is Château-Grand-Puy-Lacoste in handen van de familie Borie. Gedurende de eerste jaren na de eeuwwisseling werd het hele domein gerenoveerd en de wijnmakerij en kelders geheel gemoderniseerd. In 2016 werd nogmaals een algehele renovatie doorgevoerd in hun opslagkelders. 55 hectare is bepland met 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot en 5% Cabernet Franc. Mooie op cabernet sauvignon gedreven en duurzame wijnen. Tweede wijn:
