Sweet and pure, this has real clarity with a lightly framed core of stone peach fruit and cool baked apple flavours. Lacks a touch of flesh. I like the cool lemon and lime, peach and pear but this isn’t super long. It’s refined with purity but want more. Ends stony and mineral which is nice. | Decanter | 2026 | 94

Druiven: 75% Sémillon, 25% Sauvignon Blanc

Château Doisy-Daëne, gelegen in Barsac, is een Deuxième Cru Classé. Het kasteel is ontstaan halverwege de 19e eeuw bij een driedeling van een groter landgoed. Sinds 1924 is het eigendom van de familie Dubourdieu, tevens eigenaar van Château Reynon. Op de 18 hectare wijngaarden staat grotendeels Sémillon aangeplant met daarnaast wat Sauvignon Blanc. Het Château produceert ook een droge witte wijn op basis van Sauvignon. Tweede wijn: L’Extravagant de Doisy-Daëne.
