A brilliant wine, one of the best ever at this property. Straight from the first nose you feel an added dimension and aromatic complexity to this bottle. The diversity of flavours tumbles out on the attack, from brambled autumnal fruits to tighter, fresher black cherry and cassis notes. Druiven: 65% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot, 4% cabernet franc, 1% petit verdot
Château Smith Haut Lafitte, Cru Classé, is een werkelijk schitterend domein en ook nog eens prachtig gelegen. Het is absoluut een van de sterren uit Pessac-Léognan. Bekend om zijn rode en witte Bordeaux. Sinds 1990 in het bezit van Daniel en Florence Cathiard en zij hebben Château Smith Haut Lafitte op de kaart gezet als een domein van kwaliteitswijn. Fraaie zuivere en rijke rode wijnen en volle, rijpe en sappige witte wijnen. Aangeplant voor rood: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc en 1% Petit Verdot.
