Expressive nose, alive and abundant, shining out the glass. Good succulence here, tight and focused but so nuanced and detailed. Really delivering a punchy, precise glass of wine that doesn’t swerve from the centre. This has such a gorgeous crispness but also chalkiness on the palate giving some dry tannins that settle and give structure and nuance. Druiven: 45% Sémillon, 35% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Sauvignon Gris, 5% Muscadelle
Vanaf 1990 huurde Pierre Lurton (Château Cheval Blanc en Château d’Yquem) Château Marjosse om het in 2013 uiteindelijk geheel in bezit te krijgen. Gestage groeiend naar nu 50 hectare voor de witte en rode wijnen. Gemaakt van stokken van gemiddeld 25 jaar weet Pierre Lurton een prachtige witte wijn neer te zetten. Zie ook Château Marjosse Rouge
