Druiven: 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot
Château Batailley, Cinquième Grand Gru Classé, is in eigendom van het grote Borie-Manoux (Castéja familie). Tot 1942 bestond Château Batailley nog uit één groot domein, maar werd vervolgens opgedeeld, waarbij Château Haut-Batailley is ontstaan als zelfstandig domein. De 57 hectare is aangeplant met 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc en 2% Petit Verdot. De wijnstokken zijn gemiddeld 40 jaar oud. Château Batailley produceert typische duurzame Pauillac wijnen, gedreven door Cabernet Sauvignon, intens, zuiver en veel cassis. Tweede wijn (sinds 2015): Lions de Batailley. Biedt goede waar voor het geld.
